Cals AI is operated by Makdad Chamkhi, trading as 108 Studio, established in France at 770 Rue Notre-Dame des Champs, 75006 Paris, France. 2. Information we process
- Account information: your account identifier, email address, and profile details made available through your chosen email, Google, or Apple sign-in method. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication.
- Profile and goals: date of birth, sex, height, current and target weight, activity level, dietary preferences, and the goals and preferences you enter.
- Nutrition and progress: meal photos, ingredients, portion sizes, calorie and macronutrient estimates, meal history, daily targets, and weight entries.
- Purchases: app user identifiers, subscription status, transaction and entitlement information used to provide paid access.
- Support: your email address, messages, and any attachments you send us.
- Technical information: information involved in delivering, authenticating, and securing requests, such as IP addresses and service logs processed by our providers.
Some profile and nutrition information may be sensitive or health-related under applicable law. Only provide information relevant to using the service. Avoid including other people, documents, or unnecessary personal details in meal photos.
3. Why information is processed
Information is processed to authenticate users, save and synchronize records, estimate meal nutrition, generate personalized plan text, display progress, manage subscription access, respond to support requests, maintain service security, and meet applicable legal obligations. Camera or photo-library access is used for features you choose to use, subject to device permissions. You can manage those permissions in your device settings.
4. AI processing
Cals AI uses Google’s Gemini API for meal analysis and personalized plan text. For meal analysis, the selected photo and language setting are sent for processing. For plan text, inputs include age, weight and target weight, activity, dietary preferences, goals, obstacles, and calculated calorie and macro targets.
AI processing takes place outside your device. Google’s applicable service terms govern its handling of these requests, including abuse monitoring and any permitted product-improvement use. See the Gemini API terms. Do not include information in a scan that you do not want sent for analysis. AI outputs can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on them.
5. Storage and service providers
The app stores working data locally on your device. For signed-in users, account-linked records are synchronized with Cloud Firestore, and saved meal photos can be uploaded to Cloud Storage for Firebase. Deleting the app alone does not delete cloud records.

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable provider agreements and privacy notices describe their processing locations and transfer arrangements. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
6. Retention and deletion
Saved profile, meal, and progress records support your ongoing use of the service. You can remove meal entries in the app. The account-deletion feature removes your account’s stored meal photos, cloud user record, Firebase authentication account, and locally cached account data. A recent sign-in may be required to verify the request.
Account deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription or automatically erase separate store, RevenueCat, support, or provider security records. To request deletion of information held outside the app’s account-deletion flow, email discountstoreest@gmail.com. Records subject to legal obligations or necessary for handling disputes may need to be retained. Provider backup and security-log deletion follows the applicable provider’s rules.
7. Website and cookies
This website’s code does not include advertising pixels, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or a contact form. The hosting service processes requests to serve and secure the website. Email links open your email application. External links lead to services with their own privacy practices.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You may complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr, or to the competent authority where you live or work, or where you believe a violation occurred.
Send requests to discountstoreest@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the records involved. We respond within the time required by applicable law. Do not send passwords or payment-card details with your request.
9. Security and policy changes
No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your sign-in details and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access. We update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. The date above identifies the latest revision.
